My abstract works are created using the same recycled magazine collage technique as my figurative pieces, but with a different emphasis. Rather than forming realistic imagery from paper, I use small fragments of recycled magazine pages as a starting point—allowing a scrap or two of color or text to anchor the composition. From there, I build an abstract image through layered paint and mixed media.

These works are less about representation and more about feeling. They reflect a belief that beauty often emerges through change and reinvention, and that even the smallest fragments—often overlooked or discarded—can hold unexpected depth.
