I’m Betsy McCormack, a fine art collage artist who makes art from tiny scraps of magazine pages.

At its core, my artwork is about transforming and reinventing, both with the materials I use and the subjects I choose.

Lately, I am drawn to creating art featuring butterflies and moths. Their transformation from cocoon to flight mirrors the way change tends to happen in our own lives — slowly, privately, and without spectacle — yet necessary for becoming who we are.
